Coyne Airways is an airline based in London, United Kingdom. It operates cargo flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tooting, as well as Africa and Asia using Antonov and Ilyushin aircraft as required. Its main bases are Tbilisi International Airport(TBS), Georgia and Dubai International Airport[1].
History
The airline was established and started operations in 1994. It started as a charter broker specialising in the CIS market. In 1997 it started to operate scheduled services to the Caspian and in July 2002 inaugurated a freighter service between Seoul and Yuzhno Sakhalinsk. It charters aircraft as required. It is wholly owned by Coyne Aviation (of which the Coyne family owns 80%) and has 17 employees (at March 2007)[1].
Destinations
Coyne Airways operates freight services to the following destinations (at January 2005): Aqtau, Atyrau, Baghdad, Brno, Dubai, Seoul, Tbilisi, Yerevan and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
