Added a new paragraph about the current goings on with their website and stuff. Probably needs to be edited to sound more encyclopedic, but it's better than nothing.65.43.214.112 18:36, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

- I don't know when you read this, but something's happened to it. There are chunks missing, and it makes no sense. For example:
Finger Eleven is a band that has earned a devoted Canadian following. Their first album, Letters from Chutney (1995) . with money won from a rock band search contest on a radio station...
- vice
Finger Eleven is a band that has earned a devoted Canadian following. Their first album, Letters from Chutney, was recorded under the name Rainbow Butt Monkeys, with money won from a rock band search contest on a radio station...
- That second, ungarbled version is from here:
- So, if the owner of that blog isn't the one who did that entry, it's not only been bollixed up, it's plagiarized.Zlama 02:42, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Rainbow Butt Monkeys
where is this cited?
- What part of it? Adam Bishop 07:33, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
one thing
the song one thing was featured in the comedy-serie "Scrubs". maybe this could be mentioned.
Butt Monkeys
HAHAHAHA..These guys played at a battle of the bands at our highschool (Waterdown) in 1991 or 92. Frontman Scott Anderson went there. Too funny 74.56.250.216 06:26, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Finger Eleven explanation
That explanation where their name comes from is... well, at least it's flawed. Sounds like lame PR mumbo jumbo from a record label to me. Take a second, think about the male body and you'll instantly know which part the eleventh finger is. It's the same part of the body some people attribute "instinct" to. 88.65.104.47 19:48, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

MuchMusic?
Please dont put down music video chart positions on the singles part of this page. Them countdowns judges how many people download that video from Muchmusic, not the actual song, which is what the single's chart positions are for. Crocodileman 19:22, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Genre
Does anyone think the genres in the infobox should be changed to alternative rock, dance punk??? This is definitely what their new album sounds more like. It's definitely not alt metal, or hard rock. Anyone agree? ╦ﺇ₥₥€Ԋ (talk) 23:35, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
I agree they definitely do not fit the Metal Genre not even by te mainstream definitions. (Resiak) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Resiak (talk • contribs) 03:30, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

James Black redirection
I believe that James Black (guitarist) used to redirect to an Australian pop/rock guitarist, but that page seems to be lost. We might have a disambiguation issue on our hands...Thoughts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colinclarksmith (talk • contribs) 02:44, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
