Janyse Aldis Jaud (first name pronounced Zja-niece) is a Canadian actress and singer/songwriter. She is of Icelandic-French descendant.

Her original songs from the albums, “The Magic of Christmas” and “The Magic of Think” have been featured in the movies Blonde and Blonder (Pamela Anderson), “Making Mr. Right” (Dean Cain), “On The Other Hand Death”, "Love Sick", “All She Wants For Christmas” and the television series "Smart Cookies". In 2008, both albums were also honored to be in the OSCAR® and GRAMMY® nominee gift bags. In 2006, Janyse received the privilege of being named one of four Finalists by the Song of the Year songwriting contest whose judges include the biggest names in music, such as Chris Brown, Beyonce, Fergie and Feist.

In 2005, Janyse released her first Christmas CD single featuring her original compositions "Santa Is Mine Ho Ho" and "Home Sweet Home" to great success. Janyse is also the voice of the Emmy Award winning series "Adoption Stories", voices two lead characters in the Kid's Choice Awards Best Cartoon nominated "Ed, Edd n Eddy" and is the lead voice in the Sundance Film Festival award winner Broken Saints. She's also done voice acting for many anime series, including InuYasha.

Janyse is also a voiceover actress and is best known as Pinkie Pie in My Little Pony (Hasbro), Orange Blossom in Strawberry Shortcake (American Greetings/DIC), Sarah & Lee Kanker in Kids Choice Awards Best Cartoon nominated Ed, Edd n Eddy (Cartoon Network), Narrator of the Emmy Award winning series Adoption Stories (Alliance Atlantis Discovery), Cymbeline in Bratz (MGA), Melissa Duck in Baby Looney Tunes (Warner Bros) and Shandala in Audience award winner Broken Saints at the Sundance Film Festival.
