Romania

Canadian-Romanian relations are foreign relations between Canada and Romania. Both countries have established relations on August 16th, 1919. Romania opened an embassy in Ottawa in 1967. Canada send its first resident embassador in December 1976. Canada has an embassy in Bucharest. Romania has an embassy in Ottawa and 3 consulate-general (in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver). Both countries are members of NATO.
