Taken Out is an Australian television dating game show on Network Ten that premiered on September 1 2008 at 7pm. The series will screen in this timeslot every Monday - Friday.[1] The show is hosted by James Kerley, a Foxtel television presenter who has hosted such shows as Cash Cab and The Dave & Kerley Show.[2]

Overview

Taken Out is a studio-based show that involves a single man who is introduced to thirty women which are revealed to him in the Taken Out arena. The women learn information about the eligible bachelor and then decide whether or not they see him as being a potential love interest. One woman will be left standing as the lucky date for the man. The process is reversed throughout the series in which a single woman is introduced to thirty men.[3]
