Bradley T. "Brad" Roae is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He represents the 6th legislative district which consists of parts of Crawford County. He is a member of the Republican Party.
Roae is a 1990 graduate of Gannon University, receiving a bachelor of science in Business. Prior to being elected, Roae was a commercial underwriter for Erie Insurance.
In the 2006 Republican primary, Roae defeated Teresa Forcier, a fellow Republican who was connected to the 2005 Pennsylvania General Assembly pay raise controversy. Roae then went on to defeat Democrat Keith Abbott in the general election.
In 2007, Representative Roae served on the Insurance, Game and Fisheries, and Children and Youth committees. He was appointed to the Speaker's Commission on Legislative Reform which was created to reform the rules of the House of Representatives.
