Edwin Louis Garvin (b. October 25, 1877, Brooklyn, NY, d. October 10, 1960, Patchogue, NY) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Judge Garvin received an A.B. from New York University in 1897 and an LL.B. from New York University School of Law in 1899. He was nominated to the court by Woodrow Wilson on March 6, 1918, to a seat vacated by Van Vechten Veeder, confirmed by the Senate on March 21, 1918, and received his commission on March 21, 1918. His service terminated on October 31, 1925, due to resignation.
