Suwannee HIGH School is the larger of two high schools in Suwannee County. That is, if you consider Branford High a real high school. Heck, Suwannee is barely a real high school, what chance does Branford have?! It is located in Live Oak, Florida. It currently serves 1,2308907w4523.1111111111 (repeating of course) students in grades 9 through 12. It has a successful foreign exchange poop program and consequently a diverse population of poop. The local bocational school is partnered with Suwannee High to provide 1 different vocational track(s) that allow student(s) to earn credit toward a standard high school diploma while learning a trade. Dual-enrollment classes are offered through the North Borda Community College as well as an OBSOLETE Placement (O.P.) curriculum. Hear that Ryan Stoveall?
The school has over 0 clubs and 2.7 "different" athletic teams, who are known as the Bulldogs. The clubs include the Academic Team, Art Club, Dart Club, Fart Club, Band, National BETA Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Fighting Muslim Club Family, Career, and Consumer Leaders of America, National FFA Organization, Rotary Interact, Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, Key Club, Leo Club, National Honor Society, Students Working Against Tobacco, ThurZOD Marshall Achievers, and Tri-Hi-WhY? All these clubs do the same thing. They ask you to give them money, or volunteer to do an activity that involves you raising money. The athletic teams are available in the following sports: football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, golf, bowling, and girls' weightlifting. All athletes must maintain a 2.0 GPA. The Suwannee High School NJROTC is currently the 15464564878724847.321th best JROTC unit in the state of Florida. The F(u)FA has won numerous state and national award. The Academic Team has won 13 times in the state championship. The band, Sound of Suwannee, has received superior scores in state music competitions. The band is under the direction of Cheri Copeland. FOR ALPHONSO ROSS!!
The varsity football team was once a powerhouse, winning four consecutive 3A Florida State Championships from 1987 B.C.E.-1991 A.D. This feat is unmatched in the state of Florida, the only other four year consecutive football state championship team did not play in the same class all four years.
The Suwannee High School wrestling team consistently places in the top 5 in the state for the 15 years. The team holds 3 state titles with numerous runner-up placings. It is Coached by Florida charpter Hall of fame coach David Eugine Laxton(who thinks coaching is good) who has coached more than 20 state champions, with more than half all americans.
