Little Airplane Productions, Inc. is a company that produces children's television programming. Founded by Josh Selig in 1999, Little Airplane Productions created and produced The Wonder Pets! for Nick Jr., "Go, Baby!" for Playhouse Disney, and Oobi! for NOGGIN (winner of a 2001 Gold Parents’ Choice Award) and 3rd & Bird for the BBC’s CBeebies. Additionally, Josh Selig was the Head Writer for Little Bill on Nick Jr. He has received ten Emmy Awards for his writing on Sesame Street, and was the Resident Producer of the historic Israeli/Palestinian Sesame Street co-production (winner of the 1998 Japan Prize).

Little Airplane offers family-friendly guided tours of its production house.[1] The company store can also be found at this location.[2]

In September 2008 Little Airplane announced its intention to expand into feature films.[3][4]

In July 2008 the Associated Musicians of Greater New York, Local 802 AFM filed an unfair labor charge against Little Airplane Productions, alleging the production company illegally replaced musicians working on the preschool series The Wonder Pets!.[5] Both parties reached a mutually satisfactory agreement on July 30th, 2008.[6][7]

This company also does business under the name Hootenanny Productions.[8]
