Welcome to Wikipedia. One point to remember when editing is to use the preview facility to check the effect of your edits. Your recent change to Fleet Air Arm broke nearly all the links in that section.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to HMS Ark Royal (R07), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -MBK004 08:25, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to HMS Victorious (S29), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You have been warned previously about breaking links, and about the need to check using the preview facility before saving your edits. Please learn and understand. WELCOME

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. If you edit without a username, your IP address (213.123.187.66) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Please cite your work properly

Unless you can cite properly (an edit summary is not sufficient), I will be forced to revert every edit you have made to a ship article as unsourced. -MBK004 18:17, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final Warning

If you still persist in adding uncited information (saying where you got it in the edit summary is not sufficient), you will be blocked from editing. -MBK004 18:04, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yet another warning

In a recent edit to the page C-17 Globemaster III, you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. - BillCJ (talk) 09:57, 5 Ju

Bill Bill Bill Any chance you can delete this bit soon as it has been up here 3 months and your point has been well made. Why do you and others keep treating me like an errant schoolboy with your tone. I would like to know who vets the administrators inputs for accuracy. Please tell me the inaccuracies on movie The Final Countdown as I have seen this picture loads of times.I admit to the superfluous bits though!

Please use Edit Summaries because your addition to Royal Air Force of Operation names (like Garron) could be made up! How can I know? So say in the Edit Summary where you got that from or, much better, reference your source in the article. Please don't write back and ask me how to do that, I work mainly on picture adding. Best Wishes, - Adrian Pingstone (talk) 08:22, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And also, please remember the simple rules of punctuation and style, such as spaces after full stops and commas. David Biddulph (talk) 12:10, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Any chance this bit can come off soon, another bollocking from the administrator community.
