Brett Alan Tucker (born May 21st, 1972 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian actor and singer. The son of Ken and Janice Tucker, he grew up in the Yarra Valley of Victoria [1] with his three siblings - Nicky, Mark and David.[2] He attended Melbourne's National Theater Drama School and made his acting debut in a 1994 episode of Snowy River: The McGregor Saga.

Brett is best known for playing Dave Brewer on the drama McLeod's Daughters. He apprenticed with a real country veterinarian to research his role. [3]

Brett's onstage credits include The Woman in Black in 2006. [4]

He has returned to Neighbours in late 2007 as a regular playing the role of Daniel Fitzgerald, whom he played from 1999-2000.

Brett was in McLeod's Daughters with Catherine Wilkin who played his mother Mrs. Reg in The Saddle Club. Catherine plays Liz Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He has also had a very small role in 2005 blockbuster "The Great Raid" alongside Hollywood A-listers James Fanco and Josef Fiennes.
