Can-I-Bus? is the first full-length album released by rapper Canibus through Universal Records on September 8th, 1998. The album was released after the rapper achieved enormous success with his LL Cool J diss track, "Second Round K.O.", which was included on Can-I-Bus?, with additional support from heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson. However, after the album arrived in stores, disbelief and disappointment could often be noted in those who purchased it; the beats (created mostly by Wyclef Jean) were criticized for their blandness and unoriginality, while other listeners were discouraged by Canibus' distinctive lyrics. Though Can-I-Bus? was certified gold, many agree that it all but destroyed the rapper's commercial appeal.
