I'm Jessi Colter is the name of a Country album by Jessi Colter in 1975. I'm Jessi Colter was Jessi Colter's breakthrough album. Before the album, Jessi was singing with her husband Waylon Jennings on many of his songs and albums. Together they had a pair of Top 40 Country hits. However, Colter herself didn't truly break as a solo artist until this album was released. The album featured Colter's first solo single called "I'm Not Lisa", which was self-penned. The song was a #1 Country and even a Top 5 Pop hit. The success of the song brought instant success to her new album. The album received by the RIAA a Gold rating. The follow-up single to "I'm Not Lisa", was also featured in this album called "What's Happened to Blue Eyes", which was a Top 5 Country hit.
