Microsoft BizTalk Server is a Microsoft tool for allowing software applications to communicate for Enterprise application integration. It uses Microsoft .NET technology.

BizTalk Server 2004, a Windows Server System product, helps customers efficiently and effectively integrate systems, employees, and trading partners faster than ever before. This version is SOAP Web Services enabled.

The next version, BizTalk Server 2006, will further advance SOA ideals the Microsoft Way in partnership with the proprietary Indigo technology, which is realizable only with full Windows XP SP2 or later devices on all servers and client machines.

In today's global economy, companies need to integrate applications, systems, and technologies from a variety of sources. To make this easier, Microsoft delivers best-of-breed integration technology through BizTalk Server 2004 and expands the offering with industry accelerators and adapters directly and through partners.
