Blink-182 demo tapes
The following are the first two demo tapes by Blink-182.
Flyswatter

---|---|
Flyswatter is the first demo album recorded in 1993 by the group Blink-182.
The demo was recorded in drummer Scott Raynor's bedroom, and was recorded live on a four-track and involved no mixing. It was released on Fags In The Wilderness Records, which was not an authentic label and was only used as a joke on this demo.[1]
The artwork was made by Tom DeLonge[1], who also sold copies of the tape during lunch at school.

Demo #2
Untitled | |
---|---|
The Demo #2 (commonly reffered to as 2nd Demo) cassette tape was Blink-182's second ever recording. It was recorded and released in 1993 in small quantity. It included some re-recordings of tracks from their previous demo cassette, Flyswatter. Many of the songs on this demo were re-recorded and re-released on their next demo Buddha, their first album Cheshire Cat, and their second album, Dude Ranch.
The demo is a regular cassette tape in a case, along with a piece of paper, with no cover art. The piece of paper says "Blink" and "Demo #2" on it. Pictures of Demo #2 can be found here.
