Nice one

According to the Beast with a Billion Backs commentary, the idea to spoof Dungeons and Dragons and the death of its creator, E. Gary Gygax, happened at around the same time, but are coincidences.

Somehow I doubt they wanted to spoof Gary Gygax' death. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.96.163.200 (talk) 17:58, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ork vs Orc

As the current wikipedia page is presented as having the spelling of the word "Orc" as "Orc" I do believe this article should reflect that. 12.205.131.88 (talk) 19:35, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who cares? Really?

Title Reference

Surely the title being an Ender's Game pun is self evident. A [citation needed] tag is over-zealous and nonsensical. --137.222.14.133 (talk) 17:15, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Has anyone found anything to confirm that the movie will spoof Ender's Game, it's unlikly that the title is coincidental. --208.61.15.52 (talk) 01:08, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The title is not coincidental, but as Bender's Big Score was a play on Shaft's Big Score, where the plots were hardly relative, it is likely to assume it is just a play on the name, and doesn't actually mean it will spoof the plot. Nothing in the trailer and what we know seem to suggest it will, rather the opposite. --Svippong 16:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Beholder

Does Dr. Zoidberg look like a beholder (a spherical creature with eyes on stalks), or like an illithid (a humanoid creature with tendrils from the mouth, much like Zoidberg's usual form)? A beholder is featured on Futurama already, I forget which episode (I believe it was Anthology of Interest Part II).

I have yet to see the trailer, just wondering if this is accurate or needs clarification.

SilverEyesSE (talk) 22:45, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It'd say it is a bit too speculative, though I don't think he looks like a Beholder at all. I see very little similarities between the way Zoidberg appears in the trailer and how the Beholder appears in How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back. My personal view is that so far, better just explain how he looks instead of comparing him, we have too little imagery to make a solid case. --Svippong 08:52, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
