Veronicella sloanei, commons name Pancake Slug, is a species of slugs from family Veronicellidae.
Description
Colours may vary from white, cream and grey. They have grey markings.
They grow up to 12 cm.
Distribution
The indigenous distribution of Veronicella sloanei is Jamaica.[1]
Other (nonindigenous?)[citation needed] distribution includes: Barbados, Bermuda, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent[2] and Cuba.
It have been introduced to Florida and it became an agriculture pest there.[2]

moist conditions
nocturnal slug.
Life cycle
It lays clutch of around 30 eggs about 5 mm in diameter.[3] The hatching time in captivity was 15 days at 24 °C.[3]
