Universidad La Salle (ULSA) is a private institution of higher education with 14 campuses in Mexico. It is part of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
History
The history of this university began with the relocation of the College Preparatory of Christopher Columbus in the Colonia San Rafael to the Hippodrome Condesa. On February 15 the same year opened new plants, consists only of Building and Preparatory Work on construction of the tower, the gym and the auditorium. In May of that year announced its transformation into a higher education institution: La Salle University. Since then it has undergone continuous change. It has a population of approximately 13000 students and has acquired properties in the streets of Francisco Murguia, Benjamin Hill, Charles B. Zetina, as well as in Tlalpan and St. Lucia. The university is present in 14 states of Mexico which are: Federal District, State of Mexico, Michoacan, Hidalgo, Puebla, Quintana Roo, Guanajuato, Sonora, Durango, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, Chihuahua, Morelos and Coahuila.
The ULSA is among the best 7 preserving private universities in Mexico for years among the first places in races architecture, mechanical engineering and industrial engineering as well as the Faculty of Medicine, La Salle representing one of the most prestigious universities and Mexican presence in medicine.
In Cybernetics is conducted research and technological development in the area of Engineering and Technology Research coordination of the Graduate Management and Research, there are other departments such as the Laboratory of Computer Engineering LCI which has developed software.
