Buffalo Narrows is a small Metis community in Northern Saskatchewan. Founded centuries ago as a trading settlement, it is now a community of about 1500 people. Tourism and resource extraction (logging, fishing) are its main economic activities. It is located between the two Peter Pond Lakes.

Transportation

Buffalo Narrows is connected to the rest of Saskatchewan by a paved highway. It is also served by the Buffalo Narrows Airport. A road is being constructed north between La Loche, Saskatchewan to Ft. McMurray, Alberta.

School

The school in Buffalo Narrows in called Twin Lakes Community School or "TLCS". It has approximately 400 students and about 20 teachers. It has been renovated in the gymnasium to have hard wood floors and a stage.
