Moses Mayfield

Moses Mayfield is a 5-piece rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. Their major-label debut album, "The Inside" was released in March, 2007 under Columbia Records and Sony BMG. Prior to the release of their first album, they opened for Switchfoot, The Fray, Will Hoge, Pete Yorn, Blue October, The Bloody Undies, Dreaming Isabelle, Sparky's Flaw, and many others on several different tours. In October of 2007, original guitarist Will Mason announced his departure from the band. Through a series of rigorous auditions and practices, the band found Dave Taylor to replace Mason. With the newly formed lineup Moses Mayfield announced a string of tour dates through early 2008 and news of a new album on the horizon. They began to write in hopes of creating a followup to their critically acclaimed major label release "The Inside" but unfortunately due to poor management the band decided to take an indefinite hiatus on January 1, 2008[1].
