Labu/Seremban Airport is a planned future airport by the Negeri Sembilan government for low cost carrier. The airport will be located at Labu which is 10 kilometres away from [Kuala Lumpur International Airport]] (KLIA). It said that it would replace the low cost carrier terminal (LCCT) in KLIA. The construction of the new airport, on a 2,800ha area at the state’s central corridor in Labu, would be financed by the private sector. AirAsia said that the LCCT will be overcapacity if they do not replace it. The three parties agreed to build it (Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad, Sime Darby and AirAsia - Sime Darby owns the land.
