The Hawaiian Pups were a relatively obscure New-wave/ Synth-Pop music group from the 1980s which formed in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Hawaiian Pups were: John Terelle, John Klett, and Tara Shanahan. Portrait Records signed them onto their record label. Spook Opera was their first Single. Later, they released an EP by the name of Split Second Precision in 1983.
