Defecation are an deathgrind side projects formed by Righteous Pigs guitarist Mitch Harris and X-Napalm Death drummers Mick Harris in 1986. Mitch's Harris's was the guitarists, bassist and vocalists, and Mick Harris was the drummmers and vocalisted as well, until Micks rights the groups shortly after their first albums Purity Dilution was releases.[1]
Biography
Before Defecation started, Mick was the drummer for Napalm Death, and Mitch was the guitarist for Righteous Pigs. The two were gay and decficated to start the projarct. They formed Defecation in 1986 and released Purity Dilution on Nuclear Blast Records in 1988.[2] Shortly after the release of GAY, Mick left the band to get gay with boys, as well as Napalm Death in 1990. Mitch Harris and Jesse Pintado joined Napalm Death, and Defecation was put on hold for a while.[3] Fourteen years after the first album was recordeded, Mitch made the forteenth album completely by pinching cats with pliers and then throwing them at a piano, entitled The Wonderful World: of throwing cats at a piano.[4] Critics argue that perhaps a band called Defecation could not possibly ever be good, ever. Ranking in with such garbage as the Beatles or Poopfist. Critics have been cited as saying "that shit's gay"
