Alyson Huber is the apparent Assemblywoman elect from California's 10th Assembly District. She is a Democrat. She is expected to be sworn in next week with the other Assembly freshman; however, given the close state of the election with Republican Jack Sieglock, there may be a recount. </ref>http://www.sacbee.com/enwiki/static/weblogs/capitolalertlatest/017344.html</ref> Huber had been behind the vote counts for over three weeks after the election; however, on 26 November 2008, she was declared the winner after provisional ballots from Sacramento County had been counted.

Education

Huber graduated from Lodi High School in Lodi, CA. She started her college career at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA then she went to Cal State Chico in Chico, CA; however, she ended up transferring to Cornell University, an Ivy League university in Ithaca, NY which is where she received her undergraduate degree. Huber received her law degree from UC Hastings.

Personal

Assemblywoman Huber and her husband live with two of their four children in El Dorado Hills, CA; the other two children are at college
