Łaskarzew [Polish pronunciation: [ł] Audio file "s" not found] is a town in Garwolin County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, with 4,948 inhabitants (2004).

Massacre during Second World War

During the German Invasion of Poland in 1939, German forces on 17th September murdered 54 people in the town, including 34 Jews and 24 Poles. The vicitms included elderly people as old as 75 years. [1].
