Drop by and see the new colour scheme which corresponds the the provincial colours. The assessment department provides quality ratings to articles via the talk page. At the current moment the assessment department combines the communities project with the province on the Canada talk page bannerr. There is a request out to make an assessment table from the parent talk page banner or if a new banner is advised. The challenge has been met! User:CBM figured out the coding necessary! A number of various editors and administrators puttered at applying the code, and it works!! Thank you very much.
C class assessment is the newest addition for articles which need more TLC before being assessed as B class such as citations or wiki clean up. The article is more useful than a start class article, but isn't quite as rounded as a B class article.
A class articles will need more than one reviewer for reaching A class article criteria.

Canadian related articles for deletion have been listed here to encourage article development and conversations at the AFD talk page. There is now discussion to identify such articles via robot similar to Australia's notice board, to enable a better canvassing of deletion tags on articles. A new proposal by Wolterding encompassing Article alerts would identify tagged as well as promoted articles to give a rolling new view of articles moving forwards as well as articles in need of TLC.

Mc Arthur River
Sorry, for the mistake. I ment killoton of uranium (in some countries a ',' is used as decimal point, so that confused me). But still, the conversion is incorrect. 1 ton is 1000 kilo and 1 kilo is more than 2 pounds. So you should have more pounds than kilos IMHO Lkruijsw (talk) 21:19, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, again. I see now that it is not a metric ton. Weird, converting a non-metric value to another non-metric value Lkruijsw (talk) 21:26, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Me again, numbers are not correct. A non-metric ton is almost equal to a metric ton. So, someone made the conversion wrong. Lkruijsw (talk) 21:53, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
I checked the report.
486,500 tonnes grading 17.38%!!!!
280,000 tonnes grading 26.33%!!!!
So, except for the factor 1000 (sorry, for that), my number was correct.
Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.
When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.
If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! Hersfold(t/a/c)02:52, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

The election has now been called, so as with all elections we'll need to keep a close eye on the main article, party articles and candidate articles to make sure everything is conforming to policy (read: NPOV) and to watch out for likely edit wars.
Of course it will all be nothing compared to what happens on election night, October 14th, as packs of anon editors update ridings according to who won the first 1% of the vote, so mark that date on your calendar too. -Royalguard11(T) 18:11, 7 September 2008 (UTC) -Canadian Federal Election 2008

Individual categories for each rural municipality are being created. It would be good to gather consensus as to which articles should be tagged with an individual RM category. The places names which an RM provides rural government for should be within the individual category for the RM. However, should these areas also be added into the individual RM category: political divisions, points of interest, notable people from the RM, towns with their own urban governments which host the RM office? Add your comments.

A posting from Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Canada Roads A bot is going around tagging various articles for missing coordinates. One recent tagging was on Highway 8 (Ontario) (see [1]). Given that a road will have numerous coordinates, what sort of coordinates should be defined for Canadian road articles, if any? Terminus points, perhaps control cities would be obvious candidates.
