Reasons why your addition to Firefly (TV series) is not acceptable

You appear to have a conflict of interest. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a place to drum up support for your cause or project.
It is not sourced to a reliable source.
It doesn't describe any material change in reality. Plenty of people get together to advocate things, but don't spark any sort of a change. That's why we have a crystal ball prohibition. Wikipedia doesn't care if it "may be enough to motivate people into action." That's simply not an encyclopedic addition.
Finally, Firefly is already a featured article, and additions which don't represent Wikipedia's very best work degrade its quality.
