Sally Webster

Sally Webster, played by Sally Whittaker, is a fictional character on the soap opera Coronation Street.

Sally first appeared in 1986. She met Kevin Webster and wed him, despite their vastly different personalities. Sally has two daughters by Kevin, Rosie and Sophie. Sally later divorced Kevin, but remarried him for monitary reasons. There are some indications that she does actually love him once again, although she cheated on him in 2005. Sally is above all, ambitious, and considered a snob by some street residents.

Her snobbish behaviour can be seen in her attempts to live above her station. She has in recent episodes applied pressure to her family to do much of what she tells them. Her daughter Rosie became angered at her for trying to force her to attend a very proper school that Rosie did not want to attend. Another event is when she becomes envious of a friend's large house.
