Hi Mrimp I see you made a load of additions to Lincoln, Lincolnshire but I also note another editor has reverted them on the grounds of Adverts and pov . Do not take it that your contributions are unwelcome, but please have alook at the links above for editing tips as some sections you added would be more acceptable if they have a WP:References to back claims up as wikipedia has a requirement for WP:Verifiability. The general addition of large numbers of household names to articles tends to get removed unless there is some context to justfiy there inclusion, as they are on every high street and it just looks like aplug. Statements added to Wikipedia have to conform to WP:NPOV and some of yours in the opinion of the other editor did not . If you have any questions you can ask them here or on my talk page. Thanks for the Info, and understood. However, I added a feature on Lincoln's culture and nightlife that hasn't been accepted, purely stating what is there for the outside visitors and locals. I do not see this as a method of advertising, I am a local person passionate about giving others a chance to see what Lincoln has to offer.
