David Zephyr Gordon, better known as Gordo is a fictional character from the Disney Channel TV Series Lizzie McGuire. He is played by Adam Lamberg.
It is shown in many episodes that Gordo and his family are Jewish. He has a Bar Mitzvah when he is fourteen.
Gordo is a very intelligent teenager and excels in all subjects except P.E. He is very confident with himself and he never cares what other people think about him. He dreams of becoming a famous movie director like Steven Spielberg, as shown in many episodes. In the last episodes of the series, he develops a crush on his best friend Lizzie.
Love Relationships
- In "Gordo & The Girl", he gets a girlfriend named Brooke. Because of this, he starts neglecting his friends and family. He also kisses Brooke at the beginning of the episode. Brooke is portrayed by actress Kyla Pratt.
- In "Last Year's Model", it is stated he has a slight crush on a popular girl. (it's also noted Lizzie is not popular, but well liked).
- In "First Kiss", he gets jealous due to Lizzie's boyfriend, a reference that he has a crush on her.
- In "Just Like Lizzie", Gordo gains a small crush on Andie, the girl who steals Lizzie's identity.
- In "Dear Lizzie", Gordo's crush on Lizzie is referenced.
- In "Clue-Less", The secret of Gordo's crush on Lizzie is revealed to her.
- In "Bye Bye Hillridge High", Lizzie kisses him on the cheek.
- In The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Lizzie meets an attractive singer and goes around Rome with him, but in the end learns he's just using her. She kisses Gordo on the lips at the very end. It is unknown what happens next, although it's widely speculated (in fan fiction, for instance) that Lizzie ends up dating Gordo.
