The Midnight Funk Association was an eclectic, 5-hour, late-night radio program hosted by "The Electrifying Mojo" on various Detroit, Michigan radio stations including WCHB, WGPR, and WJLB-FM from 1977 through the mid-1980s. The show is credited by "The Belleville Three" as being a key inspiration to the development of Techno music. Mojo and his eclectic, unique and genre-bending style of radio hosting are credited with helping many groups like the B-52s, Prince, Kraftwerk and many others gain valuable exposure in the urban radio market.
