Water is wet[citation needed]. The sky is blue[citation needed]. The "Citation Needed" tag is ridiculously overused[citation needed].

The only way to change misleading information on Wikipedia is to get other editors into the discussion page to take your side. Especially with political or social articles that are highly charged, there is someone who considers themselves "Overseer" of that page and will undo any edit they don't personally agree with. If you change it, they whine to the mods that you're multiple-editing and not following the rules. (Some of these clowns actually get email alerts to their blackberry when their pet page gets edited.) You point out that they are wrong, and they get all their "homies" in the discussion page to question sources and other deflecting/delaying tactics. It's retarded and would certainly keep anyone with a half a brain from editing posts, leaving Wikipedia to all the bipolar freaks going into a manic episode on their latest pet article.

Write a book. Cite it as reference.
