"Alexandria" is an unusual personal name. Is perhaps "Alexandra" meant?

Alexander and Alexandra

I would suggest two improvements to the "Alex is sometimes short for Alexander and Alexandra" claim:

1) Move it to the article proper (the introduction) 2) Make the names wiki-links so you can click them

An Alex, the current prize of photoshop

I think the contrebution about "An Alex" should be put back in place in "Other usage". This makes it easyer to find the article you are interested in.

Famous Alexs

Aren't there any other famous alexs? There's so many famous Toms for instance (Cruise, Waits, Yorke, Petty, Jones) or famous Davids or Michaels, but there really don't seem to be any famous Alexs... what's the deal with that?
