Certified in Management
The Certified in Management (C.I.M.) designation is awarded upon completion of the 8-course Certificate in Management and Administration and two years of verified managerial experience. The certificate program is offered through the CIM or partner institutions across Canada.
Professional Manager
The Professional Manager (P.Mgr.) designation denotes an academic and practical Canadian experience background which will permit businesses to look at the holders of this designation with confidence as to their management skills. The P.Mgr. designation can be achieved through a variety of routes such as EMBA, BBA, BComm, or C.I.M. qualifications supplemented with extensive verified managerial experience.
The P.Mgr. designation provides, for the first time in the management profession, the identification of individuals from various specialty disciplines who meet an established set of criteria reflecting high standards of professional integrity, work performance and recognition.
Chartered Manager
The Chartered Manager (F.CIM) designation recognizes senior-level management training and academic competency and is most suitable for holders of research-oriented MBA, MMSc, MComm, DBA or PhD degrees in Business Administration or Management, or for those that have completed the Institute’s F.CIM Diploma Program.
Holders of the F.CIM designation belong to a fellowship of peers that share the Institute’s passion and enthusiasm for the development of leading-edge management knowledge. This fellowship of peers is a core resource of the Canadian Institute of Management to maintain its position as Canada’s senior multidisciplinary management association and the voice of the management profession.
