As the Deadman, The Undertaker is from Death Valley and has an enigmatic, morbid speaking manner, such that his catchphrase is "Rest in Peace!" The Undertaker is known for his resilience, able to bounce back from any amount of punishment dealt out, such as by doing his signature sit up after undergoing a knockdown or making returns after seemingly being destroyed. The Undertaker possesses supernatural powers, such as teleportation and manipulation of flames and lightning. The Undertaker is perhaps best known by his entrances in which he uses his supernatural abilities to bring light back to a darkened arena by the uplifting of his arms. Having a mysterious connection to The Undertaker are the Druids, who have acted both in support and opposition to him over the years. The specialty matches connected to The Undertaker's Deadman gimmick include the Casket match, the Rest in Peace match, the Buried Alive match, the Hell in a Cell match, and the Last Ride match. The Undertaker has many trademarks done under his Deadman gimmick, consisting of: rolling his pupils backwards so that just the whiteness of his eyes are shown, protruding his tongue between his lips, a one-knee pose with an extended arm, a throat-cutting motion signalling his finishing move, pinning his opponents by crossing their arms over their chest as if they're a corpse, playing spooky mind games with his opponents before an encounter, etc.
