Equipment

Throughout his career Buckethead has used a wide range of different guitars, effect pedals and amplifers. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Guitars

  • Gibson Les Paul Custom - Baritone neck, enlarged and chambered body, white hardware, killswitch, 24 frets, DiMarzio Air Norton in the bridge and DiMarzio Tone Zone in the neck position.
  • Jackson Y2KV - "Coopwood" custom made, reverse neck, with larger body and headstock due to Buckethead saying normal guitars looked like toys in his hands.
  • Jackson Y2KV - "KFC" same as the "coopwood", only with the KFC red stripes, DiMarzio X2N Pickups, kill switch and an Original Floyd Rose.
  • Jackson doubleneck - A custom doubleneck half guitar, half bass.
  • ESP MV custom - Used throughout his concert in the Wetlands, broken as seen in one of the Binge Clips.
  • Heartfield Talon II - Midnight blue with Pink DiMarzio X2N Pickups. Used in Early Deli Creeps shows.
  • Fender Telecaster - Used on various albums, mainly projects with Travis Dickerson.
  • Yamaha AES620 - Sometimes used live with C2B3.
  • Steinberger GS "Kaiser's Gift"
  • Ibanez X Series Rocket Roller II - Used throughout the Praxis era.
  • Gibson SG
  • Gibson SST
  • Gibson Chet Atkins
  • Takamine Acoustic
  • Vigier Guitars Excess Indus 4-String Bass
