I've had enough of this. It seems abundantly clear to me now that Wikipedia, despite its noble objective, doesn't work. There are too many people where whose mission is not to create an encyclopedia of verifiable information. Their mission is to insert what they believe to be truth with no regard for any requirements such as verifiability and no originial research. They work by repeating the same claims in 1-2 line posts, ignoring all calls for reliable sources (because they have none).

The thing is though, unlike the hordes of POV pushers here I actually have a professional life outside Wikipedia. I don't need Wikipedia. It's no the center of my universe. I didn't join Wikipedia to push any opinion or to prove myself. I don't need to. Just because you manage to get something to stick in an article here doesn't make it so. What matters is what is found in reliable sources. If you can't understand that then frankly I pity you because you fail to understand the difference between winning at Internet posting (being a Wikipedian) and having sufficient knowledge about a subject to have a professional career or at least a relevant educational background.
