Shayan Munshi is an Indian model and actor who made his debut in the 2003 Bollywood film Jhankaar Beats. Munshi hails from Kolkata. He was a key witness in the Jessica Lall murder case. He later turned hostile.
Family background
Shayan Munshi hails form a well known family of Kolkata. His grandfather, the late Dr. Nihar Munshi, was a well known ophthalmologist in India. His father, Dr. Prasant Munshi, now runs the 'Dr. Nihar Munshi Eye Foundation' in Kolkata.
