Disputes
Salam. I see that you and MezzoMezzo are engaged in an edit warring over a couple of articles. You remove criticism sections from some articles while you add others to other articles. MezzoMezzo is doing the same though the other way around. Please stop it and review your edits and see what you have done wrong. And if this won't stop i'll be obliged to use some administrative actions. Thanks. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 16:25, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
User:Shabiha and User:MezzoMezzo
I see you have already warned both parties appropriately, but you should know that MezzoMezzo also brought it to AN/I [1] DGG (talk) 16:49, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- Re: your comments on my page, I understand. I'll alter my editing as advised. And thank you for the advice as well, constructive criticism is always appreciated. MezzoMezzo (talk) 17:00, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
- I will act accordingly and will Improve my editng pattern. Is there any Option to Stop someone from Continuous Compalining and annoying?thanksShabiha (t) 01:39, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
- Shabiha, not to point fingers to you specifically, but to just emphasize that you acted the same way. To both of you, criticism sections have to exist (except I'd guess for articles like [Sun] or [Moon] and similar or to specific instances as per WP:BLP). It shoudl not be any criticism though as per WP:NPOV, WP:RS and WP:V. I am glad that you both are promissing to improve your editing ways. Happy editing.
- By the way, you can just ignore what I've just said and get some insight from WP:AGF. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 01:07, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Salafi/Wahhabi merger
Thanks for your message. I'm against the merger. Wahhabism is an identifiable phenomenon, those who follow Abdu'l-Wahhab. Salafi is an umbrella description, which no two people seem to use in the same way (for example, non-Salafis usually include Qutb in this category, whereas many self-described Salafis repudiate him). Many people self-identify as Salafi who would never agree to being called Wahhabi.
Still I'm no expert, I'm only going on what I have seen, which is that there is no agreement! --Sir Myles na Gopaleen (the da) (talk) 16:56, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello my friend
We are discussing merging the Wahhabism page with Mohammed Bin Abdel Wahab and/or Salafism as a way to reduce the impact of the use of this name which as you know is unfounded.
Please join us in the wahhabism discussion page.
I sometimes get the impression that this discussion is sometimes less about logic, reason, and truth then it is about stubbornness and cultural subjectivity. I am trying to calmly and logically convince them that the naming is nonsensical. I could use your help.
They seem to forget that many people think the naming is unfounded based on islamic science and Fiqh.
Regardless of what we think of Salafis reason should rule.
Regards and Salam. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bonassra (talk • contribs) 19:15, 20 June 2008 (UTC) Assalamo alikum ss........ i really appreciate ur work on Wikipedia.....plz keep it up......!!!
