City Life is a Manchester based listings magazine that has been published for the last 20 years. Originally starting out as a more political protest magazine - the original City Life printed rumours about Masonic influence in the Stalker Affair when other news sources thought the link too tenuous or politically dangerous to publish - but when the magazine moved to a new publisher, the style of the magazine changed.

Focusing more on listings and interviews, the magazine has became very successful, branching out into publishing guide books and also sponsoring events in Manchester, such as the City Life Food and Drink Festival or the City Life Comedian of the Year competition.
