Help with Problem with 99.235.109.172 at List of commercial games released as freeware
The person at this IP, 99.235.109.172, has been constantly re-adding incorrect info to the article List of commercial games released as freeware, about MechCommander 2. It's been already discussed on the talk page the reasons why this info is incorrect. He keeps on re-adding it with no explanation whatsoever. It looks like it may become an edit war. I'm not sure who is the right person to inform about this? As I've seen you undoing some of his edits, do you know the correct procedure here? Any admin I should inform? Wait a little more to see what happens? I'm not sure if it makes sense talking in an IP Talk Page. Thanks! --Sega381 (talk) 03:26, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've taken a look at the situation, and it'd probably be best to inform him that you're reverting him. Pop him a nice and friendly message on his IP Talk Page (good thing his IP is static) and link him to Talk:List of commercial games released as freeware#MechCommander Series. If he ignores your comments and continues to war, I'd suggest either reporting him to WP:3RR when he breaks it or warning him for unsourced information and bringing him to WP:AIV if he goes over. His previous interactions with me haven't been the best, so I'm not really all that optimistic that talking to him will help... Assume good faith anyway, and let me know if you still need help. - Thanks! I'll see how that goes. --Sega381 (talk) 11:32, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't quite agree with your rationale that "it's not spam" and "can be improved" (with what?). I am going to AFD on this. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Esenthel Engine. No hard feelings; I just disagree. Thank you, MuZemike 06:16, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- Haha, no problem. I was considering prodding, but my rational for declining the speedy can be found on the AfD. Thanks for taking the time to notify me! DARTH PANDAduel • work 12:34, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- I was too, but it was already prodded. Cheers, MuZemike 17:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
RE:Reversion on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Esenthel Engine
Hi, I was using the Anti-Vandal tool for spelling and I accidentally clicked revert. Sorry for any inconvienience. manadude2 (talk) 12:44, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Re:FLC
Sorry, I usually don't copy-edit series I'm not familiar with, especially plot summaries in which I usually take great care to ensure that there's no undue weight. — sephiroth bcr (converse) 11:22, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Itsmejudith
Hello. Please forgive the spam but since Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Itsmejudith is heading toward a very close decision, I'm contacting all editors who were in the "Neutral" section in the hope that they can take a second look at the RfA and make a more explicit recommendation (either way). Thank you, Pascal.Tesson (talk) 18:27, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
RfA thankspam
Thank you for your participation in my recent RfA, which failed with 90/38/3; whether you supported, opposed or remained neutral.
Special thanks go out to Moreschi, Dougweller and Frank for nominating me, and I will try to take everyone's comments on board. Thanks again for your participation. I am currently concentrating my efforts on the Wikification WikiProject. It's fun! Please visit the project and wikify a few articles to help clear the backlog. If you can recruit some more participants, then even better. Apologies if you don't like RfA thankspam, this message was delivered by a bot which can't tell whether you want it or not. Feel free to remove it. Itsmejudith (talk), 22:41, 21 January 2009 (UTC) |
