The song was mainly written by Twisted Brown Trucker's lead gutairist Marlon Young. The song is a love song about a rough arounded the edges guy finding love with a girl he met at a bar in Nashville. Who despite what everyone thinks his happy to be with him. Many critics have described the songs sound to Elton John's song "Levitian".
