The Washington Glory is a women's softball team based in the Washington, D.C. area. Since the 2007 season, they have played as a member of National Pro Fastpitch.

The Glory won the 2007 NPF championship, defeating the Rockford Thunder in the final game of the championship series. In the first game of the playoffs, also against Rockford, on August 25, Monica Abbott threw her first professional no hitter and the first no hitter in Glory history. The first batter in Glory history was Kelly Kretschman on May 31. The first home run in Glory history was by Brooke Marnitz on May 31.

The Glory play their 2008 season at the Westfield Softball Complex in Chantilly, Va. due to construction on their complex at George Mason University. During the 2008 season, the Glory's Desiree Serrano threw the first perfect game in team history, blanking the Venezuelan National Team.

In the 2009 season the Glory will be returning to the George Mason Softball Complex which is where they played their home games during the 2007 season. Their first game of the regular season will take place on Wednesday, June 10th against the Chicago Bandits. Their home opener will take place on Wednesday, June 24th vs. the Chicago Bandits.
