Wengernalp

The Wengernalp lies on 1874 m, is between Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg. Attainable it is to foot or by Wengernalpbahn (WAB) of Wengen or at Kleine Scheidegg and by skis out of the Kleine Scheidegg.

In 1841 were opened the hotel De la Jungfrau, which was again rebuilt after a fire in the year 1865.

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Richard Wagner, Peter Tchaikovsky and many other spent holidays on the Wengernalp.
