Etienne-Alexandre Bernier or Abbé Bernier (born October 31, 1762 in Daon (Mayenne), France; died October 1, 1806 in Paris) was a religious figure during the French revolution.

Bernier was a professor of theology at the University of Angers. He refused to take the Civil Oath during the French Revolution. Under Napoleon, he was assigned to negotiate the unification of nation and church in France with the papal delegation. After successful completion, he was named Bishop of Orléans by Napoleon in 1802.
