born on January 24, 1967, is an Indian [Poet][2], [Painter][3], Sculptor and [Writer][4]

Rooma Mehra has had [11 solo shows][5] of her paintings, reliefs and sculptures. Her artworks are found in private & permanent collections including in [National Gallery of Modern Art][6], New Delhi, [Lalit Kala Akademi][7], New Delhi, Arte Antica Gallery, Canada and individual collections in Switzerland, U.S.A. Denmark, Austria,U.K., Spain, U.A.E. and Japan. Three books of poetry: [Sunshadow][8] (1981), [Reaching Out][9](1985) and [For You][10] (1986).

She is a self-taught artist with a social conscience and humanitarianism looms in the background of every artwork of hers as well as her writings.
