Template:GBmap Arundel is a town in the South Downs of West Sussex in the south of England. It is named after the River Arun, which passes through the western side of the town. The name is pronounced "A-run-dul" (emphasis on the first syllable), unlike the county of Anne Arundel in Maryland, United States, in which Arundel is pronounced "a-RUN-dul" (emphasis on the second syllable).
