Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Larkin Grimm. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 01:13, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The edit history of the article (click here) clearly shows that you were the one who deleted the AfD notice. It's one thing to delete AfD notices, but then to not be truthful about it once you're called on it is quite another. If you are seen as dealing in bad faith, you aremore likely to be blocked. I may disagree with PhilKnight on the deletion of this article, but he's far too experienced at Wikipedia to not know about deleting AfD notices, so don't try to pin this on him. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 02:08, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think that Samantha555 is not referring to her removal of the AFD notice, but rather PhilKnight's edit which removed the {{db-band}} tag. As a relatively new user, she may be unaware of the distinction between speedy deletion and Articles for deletion. Michael Slone (talk) 02:29, 16 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Michael Slone. I am relatively new here, although I have created three other articles that I never had trouble with. I deffiantly do not think I should be blocked, as I never meant to pin anything on anyone. I just meant that a few days ago PhilKnight removed the speedy deletion tag. I thought that was the last I would hear about any problems with this article. If anything I've praised PhilKnight, and if you go to history, you will see he added references to the Larkin Grimm page, as well as the removal of the speedy deletion tag a few days ago, and I thanked him. Larkin Grimm

Thanks for starting the Larkin Grimm article. As a Memphian, I very much appreciate the effort and time you put into it, especially considering all that you had to deal with. I hope the whole ordeal didn't throw you off of Wikipedia. Some editors tend to hound specific individuals and demonize the work they're trying to do, which I think violates the Wikipedian ethic altogether. Keep up the good work! Icarus of old (talk) 22:35, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the kind comment. I by no means leaving Wikipedia. I have contributed a dozen articles thus far and will continue doing so. I never had a problem with creating articles until the Larkin Grimm one. Very odd! Thanks again!! Samantha555 (talk) 01:07, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
