Maude Frazier was the first female Lieutenant Governor of Nevada.[1]

After serving in the Nevada Assembly, she went on to help found the first public college in southern Nevada. That first building, on the campus of what is now the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is named Maude Frazier Hall and was completed in 1957.[1]
