Romilly Weeks is a British newsreader and journalist. Currently employed by ITN.

After a career in acting, Weeks went into broadcasting journalism.[1] Now an experienced presenter and journalist, she has covered events all round the world for ITN. She was embedded with the British Army during the Second Gulf War (infamously taking her hair straighteners),[2] reported from Thailand after the tsunami, and from Australia for the Queen's last tour. Her recent interviewees include Prince Harry, Margaret Thatcher and John Howard.

During the Queen's 60th wedding anniversary, Weeks was listened to in live commentary and then surprised by Prince Philip.[3]

She lives in London.[2]

In 2005 she was a regular presenter on the now defunct ITV News Channel. Since 2006 she relief presents on the main ITV News programmes. Until 2008, she was also Royal Correspondent and a relief presenter on the ITV London news programme London Tonight.

Romilly left ITN in October 2008 to go on maternity leave and has since given birth to her child. She returned on 16 February 2009 and co-presented the ITV Lunchtime News on two days. However she is currently on leave or resuming her maternity leave.
